Not that it really matters, but in the interest of accuracy, the white and black lines on the national flag take up one fifth of the width of the flag, and the white line is one sixth of the space given to the black and white lines.

In other words: R R R R R R R R R R R R W B B B B W R R R R R R R R R R R R

At http://www.TTFlag.com you will be able to download the file 'TT_flag.eps' which is in a 1 X 1.5 ratio and reflects the above rule. If you resize this file or even change the ratio the proportions will remain the same.

If we are to get things right in this country, the flag would be a good place to start. You may want to pass this on to the people who handle these matters for you.

Have a good day!

Has anyone read the "about" section of this website? The site is created by Trinidadian students studying abroad. My advice is don't go back to Trinidad. If Trinidad were a stock, every day you would see your investment plummet. Police take 2 hours to respond to a crime in progress and then others say they have no cars or the entire station has only 2 officers who cannot leave.

You are gaining an education far superior that anything Trinidad can offer and when you go back with your qualifications, half the idiots there will not want to hire you because they in a bubble and think UWI is the best thing on eatrh and the other half will hire you and pay you such a low wage, you will spend years trying to recover the cost of your education.

Trinidadians like the mess they are in. They don't want your expertise. Like a pig happy to roll around in the $h!t they in.
Stay where you are and where you will be appriciated. Whoever vex with my comment could suck salt because you know it's true.

a website like this is very refreshing!

to think i found out bout it because someone emailed me the link to play the manning game.

then i realised that it was a website of Trinbagonians talking bout the problems in the country & wanting to make a change. (amny of you guys don't live here, but that's ok. i've been trying to migrate for years. now more than ever)

in t&t, i think citizens have forgotten that the government (btw, i consider all politicians to be gov't, whoever is in) is supposed to be a servant of the people. NOT the other way around! and the present politicians are so manipulative, they've made many of us believe that we do not have the power, that we don't know what we want and they know what's best for us.

i think it goes beyond voting politicians in hoping that they won't SCREW UP the country more than it is and STEAL TOO MUCH. and believe me, it doens not help when our 'so called' ROLEMODELS are up on multi-million dollar corruption charges and are under investigation, and nothing may come of it.....and yet their ads tell me "Just Live Right". Man, sometimes yuh just want to slap them on side of the head for such irony.

i think i'll visit this website more often, because it is a way to vent frustrations. i know comment bashing may come my way, i welcome all you ignorant people (lol, j/k).

p.s. if there were trinivote.com tshirts available, i'd wear em.

Fergus....you only mention a few things you like about Trinidad...what about the poor customer service, poor health care, rising prices, droping standards of education, high murder rate etc? Trinidad need more than a political shake up...it's people need an entire attitude adjustment.
