We have been following the local news for the past few weeks and are utterly disgusted by Father Manning’s unilateral decisions.

Recently, both the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago and the Transparency Institute suggested that the government halt the monorail project until a feasibility study is performed and the procurement process is evaluated. Sounds reasonable to us. Not so to Pappa Manning. He wants to spend billions of our dollars without sufficient analysis to feed his already inflated ego.

After careful thought, we could only come up with one reason for Manning’s dictatorship style. It is purely speculation but we think Hazel have de man under manners at home. Feeling inadequate at home, he has to take it out in the office. What allyuh think? Any other reasons come to mind?

We came across this excerpt from an article written earlier this month by The Council on Hemispheric Affairs. Yet more evidence that our government is failing us.

• Fateful Days for the Economy Trinidad and Tobago’s roaring economy has almost reached full-capacity, and now threatens to burst
• Without reining in the inflation rate and loosening its artificial peg to the U.S. dollar, valuable gains in Trinidadian and Tobagonian international trade could be wiped out.
• The economy desperately needs diversification away from dependence on energy sector.
• In addition to hiking interest rates, other measures, such as better fiscal policy management and the adoption of a more appropriate exchange rate, should be embraced.

In light of the formation of a new political party, we were amused to see a blog post about the choice now being between a Mook, Crook and Dook.  Not to be outdone, we were recently emailed by someone preferring to refer to the candidates as Brains, Bandit and Boobilee. It is clear that Winston Dookeran, although highly intelligent and being most capable of managing our economy doesn’t have the charisma of the other two candidates. Panday has charisma but evidently loose morals and well…Manning has managed to find a great source for ineffictive blimps…oh…and his son managed to launch a website.  What a way to make a Dad proud!

What do you think of the candidates?

Trinidad is plagued by several issues which need urgent attention. As with any problem solving exercise, we need to properly identify the issues before we can provide recommendations. I think it is clear that the current government needs our help to identify the issues. What do you think should be on the top 3 list?

Anyhow, iz time to even de playing field again. Get your frustrations out by beating him wit ah toilet scrubber, wrapping his head wit toilet paper, shoving a dutty shoe in his mouth etc. If you use everything you might get a surprise in de end.

It is clear that Manning stickin’ on de important issues like crime and rapid inflation. It’s time to wake him up!

Grab a hold of his nipples and start twisting. It’s time he stop wasing our oil money frivolously and actually come up with an effective action plan to get our great nation back on track to the good ole days!
